TPB, DOT hosts 15th Regional Travel Fair in Tuguegarao City

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), is set to host the highly-anticipated 15th Regional Travel Fair (RTF) in this city from August 15 to 17, 2025.

This biannual event promises to be a game-changer for the tourism industry in Northeastern Luzon, showcasing the region’s rich history, scenic landscapes, and cultural heritage.

The RTF will invite tourism stakeholders and travel enthusiasts to explore the untapped potential of Northeastern Luzon, comprising the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino. By highlighting the region’s unique attractions and experiences, the event aims to support the DOT’s goal of equalizing tourism across the country.

On August 15, 2025, the Pulsar Hotel and Convention Center will host the B2B session, bringing together 50 buyers and 53 sellers/exhibitors from the tourism industry. This structured networking session will provide stakeholders with opportunities to develop new product offerings and collaborations, further boosting the region’s tourism industry.

The B2C sessions will take place at Robinsons Tuguegarao from August 16 to 17, offering visitors a chance to avail of discounted domestic tour packages, airline tickets, accommodations, and other tourism-related products. The event will also feature cultural performances, interactive games, and presentations from event sponsors and DOT regional offices.

TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles expressed her excitement about bringing the RTF to Tuguegarao City, saying, “We are proud to bring the 15th Regional Travel Fair to Tuguegarao City, a place that naturally captivates with its breathtaking landscapes and deep-rooted traditions. This event continues to inspire local and global travelers to celebrate the enduring beauty and cultural richness of our country.”

To give stakeholders a deeper understanding of the region’s attractions, the TPB has organized local tours to visit Tuguegarao City’s heritage landmarks, such as the Cagayan Museum, Historical Research Center, Horno Ruins, and St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral. The tours will also showcase the region’s natural beauty, including the Callao Cave and the Pinacanauan River.
