QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya—A total of 101 children in the mining village of Runruno here participated in a moving up ceremony and nutrition month celebration on July 12, 2022.
The children were from three Child Development Centers (CDCs) in the sub-villages of Centro, Bit-ang and Marangad that converged on the said occasion.
The activities were funded under the 2022 Social Development and Management Program of FCF Minerals Corporation.
The moving up ceremony’s theme was “Batang Day Care ay Titindig at Susulong may Pandemya man o Wala” while for the nutrition month celebration was “New Normal na Nutrisyon, Sama-samang Gagawan ng Solusyon.”
Barangay Officials of Runruno village headed by Barangay Chairman John Babli-ing and FCF Minerals-Community Relations Office manager Agnes Rosales led the awarding of certificates and food packs to the children.
Meanwhile, Sitios Kinalabasa, Compound, Cabinuangan, Busat, Dumaliguia, Atan and Busat CDCs also conducted their activity from July 6 to 8. LEANDER C. DOMINGO
