KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya: A London-based mining company in this province conducted a two-day Nursery Establishment and Management Training in collaboration with the government from July 20 to 21, 2022.
FCF Minerals Corporation said the activity was in partnership with the Department of Agriculture in Region 2 and the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Kasibu town for the establishment of nurseries in three villages in this town.
Agnes Rosales, FCF Minerals Community Relations Office manager, said the training was attended by 23 participants from the barangays of Tadji, Cordon and Antutot.
“We conducted the training in preparation for the establishment of their respective nurseries as one of their Enterprise Development Project under the Social Development and Management Program of the company,” Rosales said.
Meanwhile, Valeriano Corales, Science Research Specialist II, Jonathan Pugong, MAO Agriculturist II, and Plant Propagators Evangeline Flores and Jewel Cortez served as the trainers for the said two-day training. LEANDER C. DOMINGO
