KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya (August 15, 2024)— Didipio Mine’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP) beneficiary barangays (villages) presented their report on their respective accomplishments in implementing their Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (DHNC) programs.
According to Didipio Mine, the SDMP beneficiary villages from the municipalities different municipalities in Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino provinces presented their reports to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau-(MGB) Region 2 and other stakeholders from August 14 to 15, 2024.
During the event, the Didipio Mine’s accounting team also briefed the SDMP beneficiaries on the flow of processing their billings while the engineering team clarified some issues and concerns regarding infrastructure projects this morning.
Also to enlighten each stakeholder, the Didipio Mine presented updates on its implementation of projects under the Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences (DMTG), and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) programs.
A brief presentation on the mine’s operations was also discussed together with the utilization of the 2024 Annual SDMP budget.
These SDMP beneficiary villages also provided their informative presentations, while issues and concerns were threshed in an open forum together with representatives from the MGB Region 2 and the Didipio Mine. LEANDER C. DOMINGO
