QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya—The Community Relations Office (CRO) staff of the FCF Runruno Gold Project (RGP) participated in a three-day training workshop on Field Data Collection and Analysis using Kobo Toolbox.
The event took place from August 19-21, 2024, at the Admin Conference Room in Barangay Runruno in this town.
Frances Lara Galamay, representing FCF Human Resource Manager Vicente Sapinit, welcomed the resource speaker and encouraged staff to maximize the learning opportunity.
Larry Jay Samontina, Socioeconomic Research Consultant/Survey Specialist from Davao City, served as the trainer.
The curriculum consists of five modules covering an introduction to the Kobo Toolbox through data management and analysis.
To make the training lively and interactive, Samontina integrated engaging games to stimulate participation and ensure in-depth understanding.
Rodaly Arcebal, FCF communication supervisor, said the Kobo Toolbox app is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Social Development and Management Program, particularly in research and data gathering.
