DTI in NVizcaya gives livelihood kits to MSMEs, former rebels, drug surrenderers

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (June 30)—The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recently gave livelihood kits to Micro Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), former rebels and drug surrenderers in a bid to help them raise their quality of life.

Marietta Salviejo, DTI provincial director, said 44 beneficiaries initially received their assistance through their Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa Program.

The beneficiaries came from the towns of Ambaguio, Bayombong and Bagabag who received livelihood kits for their sari-sari (variety) store.

“Use these livelihood assistance to improve your small business. We will be very happy when we will see you prosper from these livelihood kits, the government will be very proud and satisfied once you grow from this program,” Salviejo said.

She said livelihood kits will also be given to the beneficiaries of other municipalities in the province to help them raise their income and economic life.
