THE University of Saint Louis (USL) in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan has welcomed its third- and fourth-year students for the conduct of its limited face-to-face (F2F) classes on March 7.

According to USL’s official Facebook page, each student was required to present a vaccination card, parent’s waiver, PhilHealth card and health kit to the Office of the Students Affairs before they were allowed to enter the classroom.

It said the students were given a sticker that they can attach to their identification cards for the limited in-person classes.

“If students already have the sticker for limited face-to-face interaction, they are not required to bring the other requirements except for the vaccination card,” said Maria Leonora Cagurangan, the Prefect for Women.

USL said the school and its students strictly adhere to the Inter-Agency Task Force guidelines. It also set up a mobile canteen on campus to keep students from leaving the school ground during their break time.

Third year Bachelor of Science in Architecture students Alloana Ines, Diana Mabborang and Lei Anne Calebag said they are grateful because they are allowed to be in the school even if it is just for limited F2F classes after two years.

USL suspended its F2F classes on March 14, 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

According to the university’s Facebook post, due to its rigorous preparation for limited in-person classes, the USL received the Safety Seal Certification from the Tuguegarao City government on December 10, 2021.
