THE Tuguegarao City campus of University of Saint Louis (USL) held its traditional flag raising ceremony on Monday, August 8, for the opening of expanded limited face-to-face (F2F) learning for the school year 2022-2023.

This is the first time in two years that the students and teachers gathered at USL’s Friendship Park to conduct its on-site morning assembly.

University president Rev. Fr. Renillo Sta. Ana welcomed the Louisians during the opening ceremony, which was also attended by the non-teaching staff, university officials, parents and other guests.

Sta. Ana said that despite the challenges of the past two years in learning, the university was able to continue to improve the quality of education for Louisians.

He said different methods were used, such as home-based and virtual learning, utilizing different platforms with the help of dedicated services and expertise of teachers and other mentors.

“Let us continue with our Louisian values. Let us continue with our CICM spirit. Let us raise the banner of excellence higher. Let us be stronger in our faith. Let us carry on our mission in farther horizons beyond ourselves. Again, welcome to the new school year 2022-2023. Let us enjoy the new school year,” Sta. Ana said.
