NVizcaya govt gives cultivators to farmers

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (March 11)—The provincial government here recently gave farm cultivators to 15 agricultural organizations and cooperatives in the province.

Governor Carlos Padilla said the farm cultivators were purchased using the 2017 cash prize of the province for being a Rice Achievers’ Awardee of the Department of Agriculture (DA).

“This prize came from hard work and contribution of our farmers and we are bringing it back to them to sustain their production and maintain the status of Nueva Vizcaya as a rich agricultural province,” Padilla said.

The recipients of the farm cultivators came from the towns of Alfonso Castañeda, Santa Fe, Kayapa, Bambang, Solano, Villaverde, Bayombong, and Diadi.

The awarding of the farm cultivators to the farmers was conducted at the Agricultural Research Training Center and Nursery of the provincial government in Barangay Magsaysay here.

The distribution was led by Padilla with Senior Board Member Patricio Dumlao Jr. and Engr. Virgilio Dela Cruz, Provincial Agriculturist.
