BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (March 11)—The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) has bared the completion of its Indigenous People’s Students’ Dormitory in this town.

Ruth Padilla, NVSU Officer-In-Charge said the P20 million IP Students Dormitory was funded by the National Housing Authority (NHA) and built with the support of the local government unit (LGU) of Bayombong.

“We are grateful for the funding and support from the NHA and the LGU of Bayombong for the realization of this project,” Padilla said.

She said the IP Students Dormitory will be a big help to the NVSU being the premier higher educational institution in Cagayan Valley where 90 percent of the university’s population belongs to the indigenous cultural communities.

“This IP Students Dormitory serves as a concrete manifestation of our mandate of delivering quality education for all, regardless of origin or status,” Padilla said.

She said the inauguration and acceptance ceremony for the project will be conducted on March 15 in the morning at the NVSU.
