BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya (October 26, 2023)—Mayor Benjamin Cuaresma III along with the officials of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) led the groundbreaking for the construction of a P10 million fire station in this town on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

Cuaresma laid down the capsule to signal the start of the establishment of the modern fire station located in a lot in Barangay San Antonio South here.

“It is our goal to offer good service to our beloved citizens of Bambang with the construction of a new fire station for our brave firefighters,” he said.

Cuaresma said the project is the result of the funding efforts of Nueva Vizcaya Lone Congressional District Rep. Luisa Lloren and the local government here tagged as one of the “Tropang may Puso” projects.

Meanwhile, Municipal Councilor Aira Mae Viloria said another day of uncertainty for the town of Bambang has ended.

“This is so because for a very long time, personnel of the Bambang Fire Station endured their temporary service area and office transferring from one place to another but now they have a new place which they can call their home,” Viloria said. WITH REPORTS FROM LEIF DAHL
