NVizcaya police gets equipment from FCF mine firm

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (March 18)—The Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Police Office (NVPPO) here has been provided with equipment to strengthen its anti-criminality campaign and to fight the dreaded coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the province.

Col. Ranser Evasco, NVPPO chief, said the public address system equipment was given by FCF Minerals Corporation to help the police in effectively communicating their assistance and services to communities in the province.

He said the police lacks the equipment which they need in their daily performance of their duties and that they were very grateful to FCF Minerals for their donation.

“This will help us well in communicating our services by reaching a greater number of people,” Evasco said adding the equipment are very strategic as they help combat the dreaded pandemic.

The NVPPO also received wireless microphones, powerpoint accessories as well as computer sets and video conferencing equipment.

James Carmichael, FCF Minerals Corporation country manager, personally handed over the equipment to the NVPPO leadership during a flag-raising program at the police provincial station compound.

Quezon town mayor Dolores Binwag, Provincial Board Member Flodemonte Gerdan and barangay officials also witnessed the turnover of the equipment to the NVPPO

The London-based FCF Minerals operates the Runruno Gold-Molybdenum Project in Quezon town under a financial and technical assistance agreement with the national government for a period of 25 years.
