BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (April 14)—At least three organic farmers’ groups here recently received machineries from the Department of Agriculture (DA).
Governor Carlos Padilla said tiller and cultivator machines were recently given by the DA to the Bintawan Norte Farmers’ Association (BNFA) in Villaverde, Kayapa Organic Farmers’ Association (KOFA) in Kayapa and Vizcaya Fresh Organic Advocates Inc. (VFOAI) in Bayombong.
“These machines will further boost the morale of our organic farmers. Our gratitude to the DA family,” he said.
Padilla said the machines were given through the DA’s “Masaganang Ani, Mataas na Kita” advocacy program.
The equipment grant amounting to P175,000 each was given to boost farmers’ productivity and income especially this time of Covid-19 pandemic.
