Rosales said the scholars are sponsored under the FCF Minerals program for the Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences or DMTG.

She said the scholars are all in their 2nd year taking up Bachelor of Science in Geology and Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering at Adamson University in the city of Manila and Saint Louis University in Baguio City.

They are Billy Joe Natividad of Barangay (village) Balete in Diadi town, Jeobet Agualin and Ada Marie Ngipol of Butao village in Diadi, Leoniwin Keith Serrada of Mabuslo village in Bambang town, Princes Allysa Almuete of Oyao village in Dupax del Norte town, and Jon Tyrone Tacang of Bagahabag village in Solano town.
