BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (June 9)—The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) main campus and its branch campus in Bambang town have opened their free internet accessibility and connectivity.

Ruth Padilla, NVSU Officer-in-Charge, said the Free WiFi for All (Core FW4A) Project is a collaborative effort between the university, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) under Connectivity, Capability and Resiliency Project.

“As we forge this partnership with DICT and UNDP, we implore everyone to maximize this opportunity of exploring new information and increase collaboration with one another. Let us work together and unlock the full potential the internet has for education,” Padilla said.

She also expressed thanks to the UNDP and DICT for choosing NVSU for its Free Wifi in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the country.

She said the partnership project will enhance the delivery of quality education to the NVSU students by addressing the perennial problem of slow connectivity.

With the Free Wifi Project, NVSU is now included in the 220 HEI beneficiaries of the DICT and UNDP Project.
