KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya—OceanaGold (Philippines), Inc. (OGP) turned over fertilizers to the Kasibu Coffee Growers Association, Inc. (KCGAI) here on January 31.
Lawyer Joan Adaci-Cattiling, OGP President and General Manager for External Affairs and Social Performance, said that members of the association received P150,000 worth of fertilizers for the rejuvenation of their coffee farms during their annual gathering and assessment.
Adaci-Cattiling said that in 2019, the company through its corporate social responsibility’s Golden Future for Agriculture project started supporting KCGAI for the revitalization of the municipality’s coffee industry.
From an initial 112 members supported, KCGAI has since expanded to 262 coffee growers from all barangays in Kasibu.
