Gov Padilla extends temporary closure of NV Capitol until April 16

Padilla made the extension due to the rising cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the provincial capitol offices, aside from various barangays of the 15 towns of the province. Dr. Edwin Galapon, provincial health officer, said the offices within the Provincial Capitol such as the Provincial Jail have 67 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) who were infected with the Covid-19 including five jail guards.
