DTI Region 2 trade fair rakes in P4M sales

DOMINGO TUGUEGARAO CITY (December 6)—The 16th Padday na Lima Regional Trade and Investment Fair of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) has generated over P4 million in sales. According to Manilyn Ponce, DTI Region 2 information officer, the sales cover the period from the opening of the trade and investment fair on November 25 up to December 1. In support of the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, Ponce said the trade fair was conducted physically at Robinsons Place Tuguegarao and virtually through its online component using the Padday na Lima Webshop powered by Deliver-E. 3 dead in Cagayan three-car collision

BY VINCE JACOB VISAYA GONZAGA, Cagayan (December 5)—Four people died and seven others were injured in a three-car collision involving a sports utility vehicle, a tricycle, and a kolong-kolong (improvised tricycle) at the national road in Barangay Ipil in this town in Gonzaga on December 3 at 9:30 in the evening, police said. Lt. Orlan Capili, Gonzaga deputy police chief, said fatalities, kolong-kolong driver Donato Barsatan and Velvet Geron were declared on arrival at the APEM Hospital in this town while Marinet Barsatan died while being treated in the said hospital.
