DOMINGO FEATURING Ifugao’s rich cultural heritage, the Ifugao State University (IFSU) has published two books after years of extensive research, according to IFSU President Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon. The first book titled “Inabol: Ifugao Traditional and Contemporary Textiles @2020” is a coffee table book that documents the hand-woven textiles of Ifugao. The second book was titled “the Ifugao Indigenous Knowledge, Systems and Practices (IKSP) @ 2021,” a textbook on various Ifugao IKSPs. Ifugao teachers graduate as indigenous knowledge educators

DOMINGO The Department of Education (DepEd) has recognized at least 16 teachers from the DepEd Ifugao Schools Division (ISD) as Indigenous Knowledge Educators (IKE) under the Ifugao Indigenous Knowledge Educators Training Program (IKETP) of the Ifugao State University (IFSU) in partnership with National Chengchi University (NCCU) of Taiwan. Uniform travel protocols for LGUs approved

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Friday, February 26, 2021, approved the uniform travel protocols for all local government units (LGUs). The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) crafted these uniform travel protocols for land, air and sea, in close coordination with the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines, League of Provinces of the Philippines, League of Municipalities of the Philippines, and the League of Cities of the Philippines.
