QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya (February 6, 2024)—In a strategic move to enhance skills and keep abreast of cutting-edge technologies, FCF Minerals Corporation’s Mine Planning Engineers recently underwent an intensive 5-day refresher training organized by Paramina.
A local distributor of Dassault Systèmes, popularly known as Geovia, Paramina led the training which took place at the Mining Conference Room, Runruno Gold Project (RGP) Site from January 8 to 12, 2024.
Rodalyn Arcebal, FCF information, education and communication (IEC) supervisor, said the participants witnessed a deep dive into crucial subjects such as the drill and blast module to mine scheduling, pit optimization, and the latest features of Surpac, Minesched, and Whittle.
“The training of the mine planning engineers marks a significant milestone in their professional development,” Arcebal said.
She said these three cutting-edge tools, recognized as the most contemporary and widely adopted mine planning solutions in the dynamic field of mining, showcased their prowess.
Arcebal noted that as products of Dassault Systèmes, Geovia’s tools are acclaimed for their innovation and effectiveness in the ever-evolving landscape of mineral resource management.
