FCF celebrates ‘DyOSHa’ Year 4, National Women’s Day

QUEZON, Nueva Vizcaya (March 14, 2024)โ€”In celebration of the ๐™‰๐’‚๐™ฉ๐’Š๐™ค๐’๐™–๐’ ๐‘พ๐™ค๐’Ž๐™š๐’’๐’” ๐‘ด๐™ค๐’๐™ฉ๐’‰ this year, the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) department of FCF Minerals Corporation here has engaged women employees in various activities

Tagged as ๐ƒ๐ฒ๐Ž๐’๐‡๐š ๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐Ÿ’, the celebration was an enjoyable program developed to acknowledge and celebrate the resilient women of the company, according to Rodalyn Arcebal, FCF Information, Education and Communication supervisor.

Arcebal noted that fostering women to engage actively in workplace development, especially in health and safety, has a significant impact on promoting gender equality, establishing respect and developing an employee-focused culture within the company.

Arcebal said the OSH department carried out an array of activities, including distributing safety tokens along with pamphlets and an interactive session by ๐Ž๐’๐‡ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š-๐‘๐ข๐œ๐š-๐—๐ญ๐ซ๐š ๐€๐ซ๐ ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ.

During the celebration, Arguel highlighted the various risks and hazards that women experienced in the workplace and provided control and prevention measures to reduce those risks.

Arcebal said an engagement activity was also launched so the women could bond and get to know one another. 

She said other events were also organized, including “๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง” which recognized and celebrated women in the workforce, and “๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐Œ๐ž” writing notes of gratitude to women who made a big impact on them.
