Tagged as ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ ๐, the celebration was an enjoyable program developed to acknowledge and celebrate the resilient women of the company, according to Rodalyn Arcebal, FCF Information, Education and Communication supervisor.
Arcebal noted that fostering women to engage actively in workplace development, especially in health and safety, has a significant impact on promoting gender equality, establishing respect and developing an employee-focused culture within the company.
Arcebal said the OSH department carried out an array of activities, including distributing safety tokens along with pamphlets and an interactive session by ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐-๐๐ข๐๐-๐๐ญ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ.
During the celebration, Arguel highlighted the various risks and hazards that women experienced in the workplace and provided control and prevention measures to reduce those risks.
Arcebal said an engagement activity was also launched so the women could bond and get to know one another.
She said other events were also organized, including “๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง” which recognized and celebrated women in the workforce, and “๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐๐” writing notes of gratitude to women who made a big impact on them.
