BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya: A police officer was shot dead by motorcycle-riding suspects on Saturday, August 13, 2022, a police report said. In a police short message service report from this town's police station, the victim was identified as Police Senior Master Sergeant Aldwin Aspacio James, 43, the field training officer of the said police station. James is a resident of Govt Center Subdivision in Baguio City. DOMINGO BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (August 9)—The province of Nueva Vizcaya has reached the level of outbreak with over 1,300 dengue cases recorded this year, according to the provincial health office (PHO) in the capital town of Bayombong. Dr. Jocelyn Bumidang, assistant health officer, noted that the number of dengue cases which continue to rise in the province shows that there is now an outbreak in the province.
