DOMINGO LOS BAÑOS, Laguna (September 14)—An annual Southeast Asia-wide competition launched by Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (Searca) for photography enthusiasts has set a November 30 deadline for submission of entries that focuses on emerging agricultural innovations for the next generation. BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (September 13)—A total of P4.44 million was distributed to 1,200 villagers in the province under the cash-for-work (CFW) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Region 2. Gov. Carlos Padilla confirmed the receipt of the assistance by the beneficiaries of the CFW program in the province through the Risk Resiliency Program for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (RRP-CCAM).
