Searca sets Nov. 30 deadline for photo contest

DOMINGO LOS BAÑOS, Laguna (September 14)—An annual Southeast Asia-wide competition launched by Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (Searca) for photography enthusiasts has set a November 30 deadline for submission of entries that focuses on emerging agricultural innovations for the next generation. Searca Director Glenn Gregorio said that for its 16th year, the annual photo contest launched by Searca is themed "Emerging Agricultural Innovations for the Next Generation." DSWD distributes cash-for-work aid in NVizcaya

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (September 13)—A total of P4.44 million was distributed to 1,200 villagers in the province under the cash-for-work (CFW) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Region 2. TUGUEGARAO CITY September 13)—With a total of P11 million swine repopulation grant from the Department of Agriculture (DA) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), two multipurpose cooperatives started constructing biosecured facilities in Isabela to revive the swine industry.
